What a wonderful day at the opening of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition - a full house and a joyful speech by comedian, novelist and actress, Jenny Eclair - who had us in hysterics with descriptions of her own artworks - toilet roll animals - we all want one now

Guided Tour with Peter Graham on Friday 29 November,  commencing 12 noon  (1 hour )

Peter Graham ROI will lead a guided tour of the ROI Annual Exhibition 2024, taking a closer look at some of the finest oil paintings produced in the UK and around the world.

The tour will cover style of approach, subject, and the most exciting new and emerging artists of the year. Peter will highlight prize winners, the best of the "small paintings wall", and the most influential painters of the ROI.

Preparations are well underway for this spectacular showcase of contemporary oil paintings held at The Mall Galleries in  London.

Entry is by open submission with  deadline of Friday 4th October  so why not put something in!!

Bridgeman Artists' at The Estorick Collection

Artists and Curators from around the world gathered at The Estorick Collection of  Modern Italian Art in Canonbury Square, Islington  for the Bridgeman Artists' Summer Party-  including  Vanessa Jackson RA, with spectacular works on display at the Royal Academy Summer Show , also Sadie Williams who manages the groundbreaking work of her father, British illustrator Ralph Steadman
